    Elegant, Painterly Look

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Sep 2019

My husband and I painted the hallway over the weekend and I love the final look! It makes the whole apartment feel more elegant. Application is easy and fun! Definitely wait 6 hours between coats, which takes time, but is worth the wait.

Great paint for distressed FP brick

Posted by John Cava on 15th Apr 2016

Worked great on a red roman brick FP that had smoke stains. We used Donkey Grey and a quart was more than enough (it isn't full height). But to get the sort of translucent look, we did - after some testing on other brick - have to water it down a little. It covered a little too opaque right out of the can. Still, very nice product - fast shipping, etc.

    Incredibly happy with this product

I had a problem fireplace. The former owners of my home painted a red brick fireplace with Brick red paint....then to complete the look they painted the grout with grey paint. It was as bad as it sounds. I spent a week trying to strip the paint off several bricks to at least variate them...better but still bad. I then came across the idea of a lime wash and found that a few designers I liked, had used it. It was exactly what I needed. No VOC's...went on like a dream and the fireplace looks amazing. Clean , neat variated shades. The limewash shipped quickly and I am now looking for other places to use it again.
