Wood Wash

Wood Wash is a translucent coating that subtly softens and ages the appearance of bare timber, highlighting the grain and replicating the look of limed or bleached timber. Perfect for white/limed floors, adding a sense of coastal style and casual elegance, or for a relaxed provincial feel on furniture and lining boards.

Stir thoroughly prior to use. First coat – apply Sydney Harbour’s Wood Wash by brush or lamb’s wool applicator, following the grain of the timber. Within 3-4 minutes wipe off excess Wood Wash with muslin or lint-free cloth to achieve desired pattern and depth of color. Touch dry 2-4 hours. Allow to dry for 24 hours. Second coat (for a more opaque effect -optional) Allow first coat to dry for 24 hours then apply a second coat as per first coat. Allow 24 hours dry time.

Approximately 750 to 800 sq. ft. per gallon, depending upon porosity, surface texture, and wastage rates.

creates a really nice look on wood

We refinished a wood table with woodwash in "hermitage"
The creates a great driftwood-look . Very natural looking, not like regular wood stains.
    Thanks, Sydney Harbor Paints
